What Clients Are Saying Denbies Conservatory Restaurant (GG)
2 /5 Clive: As you can see from the photo the food was piled on without care - beans poured over the egg, mushrooms scattered around the plate....
When getting mugs for tea I had to try 3-4 before I found one Id consider clean enough. Both teapots had chipped spouts.
This was my first time here and Id expected far better quality given the location and association to the vineyard. Not great.
2 /5 Nigel Perkins: Beware of celery! Came here for a cooked lunch today. There were three choices: turkey, trout and veggie. All of them listed celery as an ingredient which I dislike intensely, so I had to make do with a sandwich. I would have had the curried parsnip soup to go with it but, astonishingly, there was celery in that as well. Don’t bother coming here unless you love celery!
4 /5 Anna K: Cozy and place neither have fresh made cakes with tea or coffee, or having food from the canteen. Besides, you got little shops where you got all kinds of gifts, especially what I like was own made soap, candles, etc - love some lux fragrance soap I got myself.
Recommend.
3 /5 Luca Li Greci: The teriyaki salmon with vegetables at Denbies is a good dish, with flavor and perfectly cooked to tender, juicy perfection. The salmon is marinated in a tangy teriyaki sauce that perfectly complements the delicate flavors of the fresh, seasonal veggies. This dish is a true culinary experience, and I recommend it to anyone passing by here.
2 /5 catherine leung: felt like i was eating school dinners. food was ÂŁ15 for a main meal which was not worth the value of the food we were served. not worth paying ÂŁ15 for school canteen meals. they also charge ÂŁ5.75 for a simple sandwich. coffee was good though, i recommend the iced lattes, ÂŁ3.20 which is a good price
Anita Hersey Had a delicious roast and chocolate brownie dessert. Service was great - very friendly and attentive staff. Garden area is also lovely with picturesque views.
Sarbabaie I take short trips nearly every weekend to see the whole of UK one location at a time. And I must say this hotel was one of my favourites. The room was a good size with big bed and double doored balcony which helps immensely in the winter. The room cleanliness and the breakfast were good and the staff were the highlight, as they went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully in the summer to enjoy the open swimming pool. This hotel is for adventurers and people who love to hike, might not be ideal for the social media, picture perfect type.
Gavin Beynon What a wonderful meal. Food was amazing. We will go back again. Generous portions which is an unexpected and welcome change from other restaurants. Its not cheap but corners are not cut. Staff very friendly and attentive. They all appear to have a genuine interest if you are enjoying yourself. Well done and we will be back. A good reward scheme as well. Thank you for a memorable evening.
Tom St. A very nicely executed British comfort food venue with something for everyone options. Atmosphere is nice, set in the Village section of the Beaverbrook resort, a five minute drive through the forest from the main house. Decoration very classic, and service from all staff excellent.
We had a new born baby in a pram and our dog, they were very accommodating and gave us a lovely corner table which had lots of space. They even gave our dog a bowl and his own tim of treats. The whole establishment is very child friendly (as is the whole Village section of the resort).
A nice addition to the two other restaurants and a very easy going setting but with the usual Beaverbrook touches.
Danny DWFC Red Chilli is my favourite Indian in Dorking by a mile. I’ve never had a bad meal the food has always been spot on, the restaurant clean and tidy, and the value for money is brilliant.
The staff are genuinely some of the nicest people you’ll meet; they couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful. I’m going again tonight and had a look on here beforehand, and I’m honestly amazed at some of the comments because they just don’t reflect any experience I’ve ever had.
Everyone has different expectations, but for me Red Chilli has always been consistently excellent
Anna Le Ive been to Denbies several times and have always had a great experience. Today we took the outdoor tour of the vineyard and were escorted by Simon and Carol. We had such a fun and lovely afternoon in their care. We stayed for lunch which was delicious and had a browse in the shop, which always has the most beautiful items. If you go, dont forget the farm shop which is packed with great food. All staff are always so lovely and helpful.
