Annamaria Pellegrino Absolute gem of a find on the way to a work event. Service by the lady was fantastic - she did everything to ensure my wait time was a minimum but I also had everything I needed. It is a small little spot so when it does get busy you do need to wait but my matcha was lovely, porridge really good too so well worth it for me - and I came back for lunch later which she sorted for me to pick up so I didnt have to wait. Would definitely recommend!!

뭉뭉 Miso soup: Excellent. Whether or not you are an asain, this soup is not strong. Just take it and try. Prawn katsu curry: Always excellent. Never fail to have more than good dinner. Always. (I forgot to take a picture before eating!) Chicken Teriyaki donburi rice: the combination of chicken and rice will be normally great. Always thanks to this restaurant and cook.

Hazel Jones Weve just had a really lovely midweek lunch at Piattini.. such a refreshing change to see a different menu. We chose the 6 plate Italian Tapas selection including the meatballs, goats cheese, tenderstem and we thoroughly enjoyed it.. especially the garlic and chilli seared prawn on sourdough which didnt last us long enough for a photograph it was so delicious! The staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. A brilliant place for a group of friends to meet for lunch, share a few plates and just enjoy this quiet corner of Guildford. We will definitely come back. There is even a private space for parties which looked great.

Ivy Chen Really enjoyed the food! Sushi was made on the spot behind the counter, tasted excellent and looked spectacular too. I had a chicken katsu; the chicken had a good panko crust like you would expect was very crispy and the fresh vegetables & salad dressing was a nice addition too. A good value for the portion size with plenty of chicken. All the staff were very polite and kind which is also a nice bonus! Definitely worth a try and I will be eating here again!!

Natalie We had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating our UK wedding ceremony at Kaosarn. We’ve been coming here for years and have always loved the food and the vibe, so it felt like the perfect place to mark such a special occasion. As always, the Thai food was incredibly delicious – full of flavour and beautifully cooked – and the service was outstanding. The team are so attentive, warm and welcoming, and the BYOB is amazing, which made the whole celebration even more relaxed and fun. A huge special shout-out to Gisele, who truly went above and beyond to make our day extra special. She helped us choose our table in advance, laid it beautifully with our wedding decorations, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Gisele and the whole team are excellent and soooo friendly, which really makes Kaosarn stand out. We had the best time, and our family absolutely loved it too. Kaosarn never disappoints – tasty Thai food, great atmosphere, and wonderful people. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Nat and Ed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

ashley blake A fabulous, informal restaurant at the heart of this famous nursery. There’s also two shops and plants galore. The nursery also has its famous restaurant and an afternoon tea room! All under their greenhouses and decorated very stylishly.
