5 /5 The London Guru: Really enjoyed my lunch at Farmer J near St James’s Park. Great service from start to finish, super friendly staff. The food is excellent: plenty of healthy, nutritious options that actually taste good and feel fresh. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for central London quality. Great value overall. Only downside was the cleanliness in some areas. Tables were a bit cramped (typical for busy spots), but more noticeably the bathroom was dirty. Sink was overflowing/wet and needed attention. It felt a bit neglected compared to the otherwise solid experience. Still, the food and service make it worth a visit if you’re after wholesome, tasty meals in the area. I’ll definitely go back, just hope they tidy up the facilities a bit!

1 /5 Chia: I went to this branch my usual one is London Bridge and Holborn and never have a problem with them. Today I ordered my usual and the sweet potato was dry and didn’t have the seasoning that’s usually on it that date taste at all, also some mines were burnt. Chicken was room temperature and so was the mac and cheese. Not sure if that’s even legal as I know when food is hot it can only stay at minimum heat or be discarded if it falls below. I won’t be back at this branch, I will stay with my usual

2 /5 Catherine Davies: Sadly despite the price increase the portions are getting smaller 2 pieces of cauliflower and half a spoon of mac&cheese tray takeaway. There are better value options nearby that are also healthy.

5 /5 Martha LM: Picked up a working breakfast here this morning. Service was instant and friendly, and though I was taking away, the establishment was spacious, bright and welcoming inside. I had an iced coffee and an almond, date tahini and banana porridge and was pleasantly surprised to pay just £6.50. Seems a good deal for London! The porridge was absolutely delicious and a generous portion, I would highly recommend.

5 /5 REG: Tasty payday treat lunch at FarmerJs for me. slightly confusing ordering system for a first timer they clearly took for a regular! I was able to work my way past this despite a lack of explanation from staff and was justly rewarded with a nutritious if expensive serving of harissa chicken on rice accompanied by mac & cheese and sweet potato lump things. This was fresh and tasty but i could have done with a larger portion size. Good thing I had a yoghurt with Honey and Granola for elevenses!
