5 /5 Gustavo Lourenco: It was my first time visiting Filly Brook. As it was Sunday, I thought I’d book just to be sure, which is very easy to do via their website. I wanted to try their Sunday Roast and it was delicious. I paired it with their suggestion of red wine and it was a lovely combination. Nice atmosphere, great service and great food.

3 /5 Rebecca: Yeah, the food is fresh and generally good but would I go again? Hmm, probably not. I had the mentaiko potatoes, which were nice but felt like fairly standard roast potatoes. The raw tuna tostado was very fresh and definitely a highlight. The real winner though, was the panko-crusted cauliflower with soy garlic sauce, great flavours and genuinely delicious. That said, there’s nothing particularly special about Filly Brook itself, from the venue to the service, it all feels pretty basic. Although they do a good mocktail lemonade.

4 /5 L: It’s a nice little hidden spot for a meet up but I found it incredibly too loud to hear conversations. It’s also quite small so even though benches help with filling people up, for coats and winter time probably not great in terms of space. Saying this, there’s a huge cloak room space behind the toilets but you wouldn’t trust your stuff to be there so it’s sort of pointless. The food tasted really good but it took forever to come, understandably we came as a large group but orders were coming at different times and people finished before mine even came out and I ordered first. Maybe because it’s a Friday night but perhaps they need more staff! It’s a trendy little place but I’m not sure if I’d come back in a hurry. They have a nice outdoor seating area for smoking etc so I can imagine summer being a real hit but for winter, cold rainy days - probably not.

5 /5 Mark Sciberras: We had a large group booking for Sunday Roast just last week and I have to admit that this is the best roast that I have had in my 20 years in London. Definitely worth a visit. The team were super helpful and managed a large group booking with drinks orders and food so incredibly well and with very little time delays. The chefs are amazing and deserve high praise as our group were 100% complementary of the food and service. Highly recommend... I want to go back soon to re-experience my roast lunch!!!!
