5 /5 Aleena Theres V Sunny: I had a great experience at the Five Bells. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly throughout my visit. The pub has a nice, relaxed vibe with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a drink. The food was good, served hot, and reasonably priced. Overall, it’s a lovely local pub — perfect for a casual night out. I’d definitely visit again

5 /5 Mr Nobody: The Five Bells in Finchley is a great North London pub: unpretentious and reliably welcoming! I visited it last week (November 2025) and the inside felt comforting rather than contrived, maybe because outside was even raining! Wood panelling, open fires and the low chitchat of locals watching the match. It’s family and dog friendly, with accessible entry and multiple sports screens, so you get a lively (really lively...!) inclusive atmosphere rather than forced loud entertainment. Drinks are solid Greene King staples: Abbot Ale, IPA and a surprise rotating guest. Pints were well pulled and consistent. The food is classic British: steak & ale pie arrived hot with flaky pastry and rich gravy and the fish and chips had a crisp, batter and propA mushy peas! Portions are generous, prices reasonable, and the menu includes a Sunday roasts that look promising (Ill test it soon) Not a chain facsimile but a pub that got....bells!

5 /5 Matt Clarkson: Quiet for a Saturday night but thats not a bad thing. Bad weather probably had an impact. Polite and helpful staff. Booked a table but probably didnt need to bother, but it did mean we got a great seat for the football. Nice food, good service and very reasonable prices. We would certainly come again and my daughter was pleased with the vegetarian options

5 /5 Logan Parker: Every time we come in, we thoroughly enjoy this beautiful and peculiar pub that I learned today dates back to 1864! Courtesy of Callum, the amazing bartender who served us and also taught us something new! The food and drinks are great but what always amazes us is the wonderful customer service and excellent atmosphere. We could not recommend this pub more!
