Turnbull Ian We popped in for a few cocktails as we were staying locally. Nice well presented bar with lots of casual seating. A good selection of cocktails, all made fresh by the bar staff. A top tip : If you are ordering cocktails then ask for Bella, she is a great mixologist and, by far, the cocktails she served up were the tastiest of the evening.

Helen Seward-Porter We use this pub on a regular basis. The service is exceptional and the team members are very attentive. Especially LUCIAN, who is so good at his job and has a smile for every customer. Currently The Griffin is decorated for Christmas and looks very festive and also there is a wonderful real fire burning every day and evening which creates a lovely atmosphere.

james jones We booked a Christmas meal for a party of four, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was nothing short of fantastic. E T In our evening attempt without booking, it was so quick to give us a table and starting with a drink straight away. I am going to this restaurant quite a lot and I havent seen any downwards in their service. I highly recommend it. Their outdoor sitting area in summer is very popular. Make sure to reserve your table for a meal on busy weekends or Christmas/new years eve. Its absolutely suitable for birthday gathering.
