1 /5 Taras Vynnytskyy: We visited GAIL’s in Esher the other day and were shocked by how dirty it was. Even though the café was quiet, all tables were left uncleared for the duration of our stay, rubbish was on the floor, and the place felt neglected. The coffee and food were underwhelming and overpriced, and the interior looked cheap and poorly finished. A very disappointing visit.

3 /5 Sara Wills: Nice space, quiet to work in but had a rubbish lunch! I ordered the soup which was delicious but in the smallest bowl, one slice of dry, tough sourdough to go with it. I had to ask for butter, which was rock hard. Left hungry. The soup was so tasty, why be so tight with it?

3 /5 Suzan Yarim: I have visited Gail’s in Esher on Tuesday the 28th. I was rather disappointed with the service and the cleanliness of the shop. Floor was very dirty, staff not very friendly. It was almost empty. It is not like they had an excuse to keep the shop in this condition. Gail is one of the better and more expensive coffee shop, I’d expect better quality of the service from them. And also the I bought, was not very fresh it smelt like a rotten egg. I am aware that there is eggs in them but should not get such a strong taste and the smell of them. Really put me off. Thank you

1 /5 Beatriz Cabrera: After many years going to Gail’s and a keen customer of Kingston branch, this experience in Esher has put me off. The food was not as fresh as it should, the sausage roll was soggy and cold. The tables were messy and dirty. When I kindly as one of the girls at the front if someone could clean the table, she simply looked at me and replied “I will if I can”. I work in retail myself and I would have never replied that to a customer. Very disappointing.

5 /5 Mohammed Jones: I recently forgot my phone in this Gail’s and the young baristas made sure it was kept safe with them until I returned to pick it up. Thank you to both of you for your efforts and the excellent service. Everyone says this is the best Gails, I completely understand!.
