Simon Bartlett Im a regular customer at the Double Dragon. The food is excellent and light, the sauces are not over powering. Ive never tried just turning up to order, but I know that when you phone in an order, its always ready at the agreed time. I love it.

TheReviewDude Found this place online which had great reviews so thought Id give it ago. It was a quiet Wednesday evening and the place was quiet. The guy serving was also cooking the food so he was back and forth but really friendly and happy to see me. I ordered the classic messy burger and it was honestly one of the best smashed burgers Ive had, and Ive had a few. The bun was toasted perfectly and the 2 smashed patties were cooked just right and melted in the mouth. The chips were so good, lots of Cajun session but not overpowering with the right flavour to match the burger. Service was amazing and the guy behind the counter did a great job. I paid £16 which is pretty expensive but I guess thats to do with the location. Its worth it for good quality halal food.

Karl Thomas Went here for a meal after a day at the Needles. Nice pub feel, an eclectic mix of brass things, boats and baggage on the walls, but a light and airy place. The food was excellent, between us we had fish n chips, and the sirloin. Couldnt fault mine, beautiful piece of meat, excellent peppercorn sauce and fresh hot chips fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. My other halfs fish n chips were equally as good. Lots of tables with reserved signs on, so booking advantageous Id say. Its no more than 5 mins walk from the long stay car park.

Uta Baldauf We liked the sound of the menu(one of us is vegetarian) online so we booked a table on a Friday night and enjoyed it so much we book for the Sunday roast a few days after. All dishes tasted amazing and we both had red wine which tasted great and had a good temp. The vegetarian dish was well thought out and had many flavours and textures. The Sunday roast was one of the best we had so far, every element tasted great. The deserts were amazing the apple, black berry crumble tart with apple sorbet and french custard. The fruit still had bit the pastry was wafer thin, no soggy bottoms here, the sorbet smooth and full of flavour. An English classic re dreamed. The service was very friendly, if a bit slow at times. The food is amazing, fine dining meets pub delights, very relaxed and none pretentious. Worth the trip if you on the Isle!
