5 /5 yizhao Wang: Solid Chinese food, worth trying
Tried Happy Inn Chinese Takeaway a few times now and it’s been pretty consistent. The food is simple, comforting, and actually hits the spot, especially when you don’t feel like cooking. Portions are decent and the prices are fair for London.
One thing I like is that they’re quite flexible with spice levels. If you don’t eat spicy food, you can just tell them “no spicy” when ordering. If you do like heat, it’s easy to add chili yourself, so it works for different preferences without any fuss.
Delivery has been reliable and the food usually arrives hot. Nothing over-the-top fancy, but it does what a good takeaway should do.
I’d say it’s a good option for Goldsmiths students or anyone nearby looking for a regular, no-stress Chinese takeaway. Worth giving it a try if you’re in the area.
