lukasz k We visited M&C in Portsmouth for a birthday dinner—it was our first time at this location, though we’ve been to the Bristol one before. The building looks great from the outside, but the real surprise is the interior. It’s fresh, cosy, and very welcoming.
We were served by the lovely Maria, who made us feel right at home. She was fantastic throughout the evening! We ordered drinks, starters, and mains, and everything arrived promptly—drinks first, then our starters shortly after. We had halloumi fries and calamari, both absolutely delicious.
About 20 minutes later, our mains arrived: a juicy medium-rare wagyu steak, sea bass, and a rump steak for our little one. Every dish was bursting with flavour. We might have gone overboard with the sides, but they were too tempting to resist.
Overall, outstanding service, wonderful food, and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be coming back!
