5 /5 Melissa Smyth: Editing my last review because this place continues to be the best takeaway in Basingstoke. New dishes to add to our favourites are salt and pepper king prawns, satay chicken on sticks and the Singapore chow mein and rice dishes.
The rice dishes are exceptional. I also recommend pork with babycorn - mushroom curry - salt and pepper chicken - duck with mixed vegetables..... In fact I recommend it all.
5 /5 Cameron Swatton: Came in for a Chow Mein and Spring Rolls, food came quickly and the man behind the counter was friendly and accommodating. Food was hot and tasty, unreal prices.
5 /5 Adrian Donnelly: Szechuan prawn and chips. Perfect ! Maybe too many chips. It tasted freshly made.
5 /5 Harry Singh: Actually better taste than other local places.
If you order the set menu the sizes are different thats because its for 1 or 2 person.
If you order separately the sizes are big.
Great tasting food will back again.
Absolutely clean kitchen. Best I have seen in a while.
4 /5 Richard Innocent: Pretty good, nothing too special but tasty enough for me to definitely consider buying from here again.
Emma K. The meat was amazing, and the pide on the side was really good. I personally didn’t like the salad that much, but maybe you will.
The place is very clean, and the staff are super friendly, helpful, and always smiling.
I’d definitely recommend eating here!
BTan Had a wonderful dinner with friends. Delicious starters and mixed grills. Staff were welcoming, friendly and service was good. Lovely setting and atmosphere.
Diệp Hoàng This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food here was amazing, very cheap price compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I used to eat. The handsome waiter explained how to eat them properly really well to me. Especially beef pho and Hue beef noodle soup here are really excellent compared to Green Papaya restaurant. I will definitely come back in the future. A great experience.
Harry Lee Walked in randomly after many years of absence and ordered some takeaway. Had the chicken saag and was recommended the lamb vindaloo, both of which were very authentic and delicious. Accompanied by some steamed rice, the food was nothing short of amazing and will go back again very soon. They don’t serve alcohol, but allow BYO. The atmosphere is warm and homely. I remembered an elderly gentleman who used to own/operate the restaurant and so glad that the quality of the food has been maintained. The cost of the meal for an eatery in this area with such high quality food is ridiculously cheap. If you haven’t been, I would make a beeline asap.
Selma Majeed Really good tasty food. This is our go to place in Portsmouth, affordable and good quantity. The lentil soup when you dine in is to die for,. Pro tip: add some sumac (the red coloured powder on the table) on top of the soup and it just elevates the taste.
