1 /5 Aditya nani: I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order through Uber Eats. Yesterday I ordered two large lamb dum biryanis and one double ka meetha, and when the delivery arrived, the dessert was completely missing. On top of that, each “large” biryani — which costs £17.99 — had only two pieces of lamb in it. This is absolutely unacceptable. We are regular customers and always order the same items, and in the past the large biryani used to come with at least 8 pieces of lamb, which felt reasonable for the price. Now not only has the portion of lamb drastically reduced, but the packaging has also been changed to a much smaller container, making the portion size look and feel even more disappointing. When we called the restaurant to report the missing double ka meetha and the tiny portions, instead of properly resolving the issue, they told us to place another order and said they would send the missing dessert and some extra lamb pieces along with it. Because of this, we were forced to spend more money unnecessarily and ordered chilli chicken, which came to £11.50 with all the extra charges. After waiting again for the second delivery, we were shocked to see that the double ka meetha was STILL missing, and they only sent 5–6 pieces of lamb in a small separate box with some rice, which did not make up for the original mistake at all. This whole experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and expensive. As loyal customers who order regularly, this level of service and portion reduction without any explanation is extremely disappointing. We paid a premium price expecting proper portions and complete items, but instead received missing food, reduced quantities, smaller packaging, and poor customer service. This has completely ruined our experience, and unless serious improvements are made, we will not be ordering again.
