1 /5 Louie Bevins: Please to anyone ordering Indian take away know that the jaflong is far from the quality it used to be…It’s like they have a British chef cooking the meals, the samosas are like Cornish pasty’s, no love was put into them and the maker of them should’ve embarrassed. The curry was bland and had so much cream in it I felt like I was drinking a milkshake, the chicken unseasoned. Waste of money and just an all round let down to what’s supposed to be a nice treat.

5 /5 What you need to know!: Overall: ★★★★★ Food: Indian/Bengali This is not five star food, nor a five star set up BUT it is well worthy of the clean sweep as the service is lovely, the food overall really good and clearly a privately owned business you want to see do well. Enough of the chains already. Jaflong is a local, hole in the wall style set up off the beaten track of any high street. Having been told about the food being really good it seemed fitting to venture over from our corner of SW London to try it out. If youre going for the decor or location forget it - but if you want really good food, generous portions and extremely friendly, engaging service then go. You will not be disappointed. The menu comprises of all the classics youd expect at your local curry house and a few more. The plates are hot and wiped before being set down which is a nice touch along with chilled water. The chutney tray isnt some tiny metal pot but a lovely china tray with four of your usual favourites to enjoy with hot, fresh crisp papadums whilst your food is being prepared. Every so often youll see the kitchen doors open and catch the flames and bustle of their busy kitchen. There is no doubt about the freshness. This place has a really busy delivery service so its only possible for fresh food to be served from here. Their 5 stars on Scores on the Doors further evidences it. What I like: • First and foremost the excellent service • Salmon tikka (hardly see this anywhere) • The daal is really good • Good portion sizes • Good value What I didnt like: • I managed my expectations so N/A Do I recommend going? 5 /5 Ranjan Bartaula: Jaflong is the best Indian in town, and I say that as a Nepalese guy. Ive been having their authentic curries - by far the best Indian Restaurant in Richmond and Kingston! WOW, so impressed. Have had takeaways, dined in and visit often with my friends. They go above and beyond give them a try - cant beat it! Crispy onion Bhajis!

5 /5 Afeefun Nessa: Absolutely loved my time at Jaflong! The food and company is top tier. Couldnt have asked for a better place to dine in and eat. The staff are so nice and hospitable, really made you feel at home. The decor is aesthetic and modern. The food was the most memorable, can still taste it! Will deffo be ordering take away more often!
