Georgia Taylor My chicken burger was frozen in the middle I psychically wouldn’t bite into it. When I spoke to a person who worked there was incredibly rude and lied to me regarding a manager being available and raising his voice at me and refused to give me any help or refund

Thom Wilkinson I came here because it has a nice beer garden with a lovely view but was absolutely blown away. The beer was great (and very reasonably priced) and the food was way above what I expected. I had the chicken wings and chocolate ice cream, both of which id have been happy with at an expensive restaurant. Honestly, the food was incredible! As a plus, they also take allergies really seriously which is nice! The thing that really made it for me was the staff. Every person we spoke to were so lovely (Nick, Steven, and Ed), and seemed to enjoy what they were doing and want us to have the best experience, and we did. Ended up staying way longer than we planned and will be back again. Best experience I have had in a pub for years. Will come back again and recommend to everyone.

Paul Boakes Visited as a family of four, and opted for the ÂŁ58 ROKA han setto brunch menu. The starters were fantastic, with an endless supply - until your mains are served - of salad, chicken, dumplings, sushi, kim chi, endamame and sashimi. My advice would be to fill up on the starters because... ...the mains werent quite as good. We had the sirloin, which was good, but the ribs (pictured) and the salmon (pictured) were lacking on the flavour. Nothing particularly wrong, they just didnt have the wow factor of the starters. I was also surprised by one portion of steamed rice being delivered: unexpected, un-asked for and fortunately, un-charged for as well. It wasnt mentioned on the menu...?!?! Dessert (pictured), however, recovered the game, and was a selection of chilled, frozen and fresh items: banana ice cream, sorbet, cheesecake, fruits, and so on. Service was inpeccable - spot on, attentive, polite, efficient, friendly. Absolutely flawless. Total bill came to ÂŁ350 including service for 4 x adults at ÂŁ58/each plus 7 x beers, and 3 x diet coke. We were in and out within 90 minutes on a lively Sunday lunchtime. Top tip: book for the lounge, which is much quieter and airier than the more enclosed area at the back of the restuarant. And it can be a little tricky to find, as its on the first floor of a building - took us a few minutes, and this was a second visit!

Megan Fairhead We went in for a spontaneous roast on Sunday and we are SO glad we did. We chatted with locals when we were waiting to be seated and the fire was crackling away in the corner- it was the perfect Sunday feeling. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect! You can tell that Stuart the chef takes pride in his cooking as even the different meats had their own designated gravy - you dont get this often! Overall, we had a lovely afternoon at The Queens Head and Debbie went above and beyond to accommodate us. I would recommend booking to ensure you secure your spot as this little pub is really thriving - thanks for having us!
