2 /5 L N: We would have given this restaurant five stars, but the service unfortunately ruined our experience. None of the staff at the restaurant were attentive. We always had to flag them down whenever we wanted to order something. We also had a female server who behaved very strangely. When we ordered desserts, she simply came over my wife’s shoulder and quickly tossed our cutlery and napkins on the corner of table next to my wife and walked away without saying anything. Later, when we asked for the bill, she did the same with the bill. It felt like she was trying to avoid us. However, the food was excellent. It was our first time trying Burmese food and we loved it. The catfish noodle soup bowl was the best introduction to Burmese cuisine that I could have hoped for. In fact, it’s one of the best noodle soup bowl that I’ve had to date. I also loved the restaurant’s take on crème brûlée. Again, it was the one of the best crème brûlée I’ve tasted. The chicken noodle soup bowl and fried dough dessert were decent. If the restaurant could improve their service, this restaurant could be one of the finest in the city.

4 /5 Dave Smith: The food here is very good. The chickpea tofu noodles are delicious and creamy. The braised beef curry was tender and tasty. The pandan & coconut crème brûlée is a must. What brings the experience down however is the slow service. Staff are nice and friendly, just not enough of them. 3.5 stars.

5 /5 Patrick: This was my first time trying Burmese food. Very highly recommend going to this restaurant. Burmese food, to me, is much more similar to Thai food than I thought. As Thai, I’m very familiar with the Thai cuisine, and many of the flavours of Burmese cuisine reminded me of it. There are certain types of meats and curries that are clearly influenced by India/Nepal, making this a very interesting cuisine. I most recommend the mutton curry - by far the best dish I’ve had, and I’ve tried a few dishes at this place. The second meal I would recommend is the Mohinga, which is a national dish and similar to a Malaysian Laksa + Vietnamese vermicelli noodles. Food gets delivered super quick ~5-10 minutes. Staff are very friendly.

4 /5 Janani Arunachalam: The place has a great ambiance. The service was decent (they made us sit in the counter while the tables werent occupied the entire time we were there, a bit sus) and the food was alright. We were trying different place one night and decided to check this out by ordering 3 dishes. We tried the fritters (wasnt salted, not sure if that was intential but the sauce was perfectly sour, tandy and tasty), the flatbread (was really good, similar to the India/Sri Lankan Parotta) and the chickpea tofu (which was interesting).

4 /5 Rico Razzo: The ginger salad was brimming with flavour and texture - though comparatively small - pearlescent in its miniature glory. The chicken noodles like a chilled out laksa - rich and mild coconut broth and really liked the crispy noodles… all in all tremendous value for £17.50 for the express lunch menu in this part of town. Home made ice tea serviceable but on the pricy side at £6. It was freeeeezing outside and the door didn’t shut without an effort so the temperature in the room meant you couldn’t take your jacket off so sit away from the front door…
