Michelle Nice big portions and fresh ingredients. Probably one of the best chicken salads I’ve had because it was loaded with juicy chicken slices! Eggplant side was also delicious. The place was fairly empty/peaceful on a weekday early evening.

Rita Pereira We were a group of four and had a great experience! The food was served quickly and was very well prepared. Portions were generous and the prices reasonable. Everything was delicious!
For mains, we had the Burrata & Pancetta Carbonara, two Calzones (Carne Piccante), and the Pollo e Pancetta pizza.
For dessert, we chose the Lemon Sorbet and two portions of the coffee & mini dessert - a great option if you fancy something sweet but don’t want a large portion. The staff were nice and attentive.

Karen Summers Despite catering for a large party when we booked, our small group received excellent service . Staff were friendly and helpful. The brie and bacon ciabatta with fries, was sooo tasty! Other group members had different ciabatta fillings and the cheese burger, all reported as being equally enjoyable. We all chose ice-cream for desert, savouring decent sized scoops from a substantial list of options. A very reasonably priced lunch. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Red Lion Team!

Coralie Rassinoux As a French person who grew up by the sea and who has lived in the UK for over 15 years, the cod roast was hands down the best fish I’ve had in the UK. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. The crème anglaise was a delicious success. The atmosphere was lovely and family friendly on a grey January Sunday. Great service from the front house team. Highly recommend!
