ColinsKid I’ve visited this place a handful of times and each time I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the food. Each visit I aim to try a different dish, to get a real insight into what Filipino cuisine is like having not come across it before I moved into the borough. Today was no exception, I opted to try one of the daily specials: Pork Humba. It was a delicious dish of fatty pork belly, with black beans, banana blossom in a sweet and savoury soy sauce, served with steamed rice. Delicious. My previous visits have seen my try the Chicken adobo, Kare Kare and up until today my favourite the Caldereta. The condiment table is always worth a visit with pots of homemade chilli oil and a vinegary onion sauce that helps to cut through the rich dishes. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is an unassuming cafe usually frequented by a mix of locals as well as international visitors looking for a tasty affordable lunch with decent sized portions. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Romford and looking for something tasty, comforting and different to the usual fry up cafes and fast food restaurants scattered around the Romford Market area.

S A Recently checked out Adana in Elm Park, and it did not disappoint! This place is a fusion Turkish spot, so if you’re after spiced-up Turkish food with real flavour, this is the one for you. Went with two friends and we tried the Adana kebab, lamb chops, chicken shawarma, and grilled wings — every dish was absolutely spot on. The boss man himself was on the grill, which was impressive to see, and you could really taste the care in the food. They do a lovely half chicken with rice for a fiver! The food was on point, tasty, and perfectly cooked. These guys already have three branches, so they’re clearly doing something right. We went on a quiet night and had a lovely time dining and chatting without any rush. If you’re after a proper bit of meat and great Turkish flavours, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Adana. Well done, lads — keep it up!

Cookie Monster25 It was my birthday and I got a Wagamama redeemable voucher for free gyoza’s! It was very yummy. Never a time I where I haven’t enjoyed the spicy katsu curry. We had a cocktail too, it went very well with the meal. Big shout out to the hard worker Nuchy! What a lovely woman, she served us very well. Thank you a tonne! Sanjeev Kumar Naidu I had a really good experience at Hungry Cow. The burgers were juicy, well-seasoned, and freshly made, with great flavours in every bite. Portion sizes were generous and definitely worth the price. The sides were crispy and complemented the main dishes perfectly. The staff were friendly, polite, and quick to take orders, which made the overall experience smooth and enjoyable. Service was fast, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The place was clean and had a nice, casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick meal or takeaway.
