From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel very welcome with their warm smiles and excellent hospitality. They were attentive throughout the meal, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. The food itself was outstanding – freshly made, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into each dish. Everything felt authentic and cooked with passion, which made the whole experience special. The portions were generous, and every bite was delicious. On top of that, the atmosphere in the restaurant was calm, inviting, and family-friendly, which made us feel completely relaxed. It’s rare to find a place where you get such a perfect balance of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment, but Basra Restaurant truly delivers on all fronts. Food is always delicious and we have enjoyed our meals here. We recommend the bao buns, cocktails and starters especially, which are delicious. We have been served by Nik before who has accommodated us very well.

The menu offers a delicious range of authentic Pakistani and Peshawari dishes — the Chapli Kebabs, Karahi and Kabli Pilau were bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous and great value for money. The staff were attentive and friendly, even offering thoughtful recommendations. Neil P As a frequent visitor to this premises over the years I wasnt too sure what to expect with the latest owner. Im very happy to say that the lunch I had was superb. New menu with a lot of the old curry options removed which is no bad thing as they seem to be focusing on a core of options that they do really well. The spicy chicken curry was excellent and not overcooked. Great balance, heat and flavour. The garlic nan was AbFab! Im delighted this place is open again, Ill be back soon! Service was perfect.
