5 /5 Sameer Ismail: Went to Needoo in East London and we ordered the mix grill, some biryani, and a few curries. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavour — exactly what you want from a place like this. They were quite busy when we went, but even with the rush, the service and overall quality were still very good. You can tell they know what they’re doing and keep things consistent. Definitely a solid spot if you’re around the East London Mosque area and craving good Pakistani/Indian food. I’d happily go back.

1 /5 Jennie Telvak: DO NOT BE TRICKED BY THE VISUALS!!!!! Ordered Mix Grill and extra portion of lamb chops with naans which came 5 minutes after we just ordered. I had my suspicions but I wanted to give them a try. Food came so spiced it felt like I was eating just chilli’s on its own and I eat spicy on daily basis. The flavour wasn’t bad but all those spices was just to cover the fact the MEAT WAS OLD!!!!!!!!!!! This was the toughest grill meat I’ve ever ate!! The lamb chops and chicken was a total joke and cold in the middle! After paying the bill of £50 I’ve spoken to the chef. The chef himself admitted the meat was not fresh and was already prepared and cooked and left in the fridge. Then taken out and rubbed with extra creamy spice mix and thrown back on the grill just to be served to the customers! That’s a FOOD HAZARD!! It was a total joke and ended up having severe food poisoning feeling sick 10 minutes after eating their food!!! The chef then told me “next time you come, call us ahead if you want fresh food and we will make it” like are you serious?? I am never coming back and I wish someone had warned me about this place!!!! SUCH A DISGRACE

5 /5 A R: I recently visited Needoo Grill in Whitechapel and had a fantastic experience overall. We started with the Mango Lassi, which was refreshingly sweet and smooth, perfect to complement the spicier dishes. For mains, we ordered the Mixed Grill, Karahi Ghost (Lamb), and a Butter Naan. The Mixed Grill was impressive. The chicken, lamb, and kebabs were well-marinated, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavor. Each bite had a nice char from the grill without being dry, making it one of the highlights of our meal. The Karahi Ghost was rich and aromatic, with tender lamb pieces simmered in a perfectly spiced sauce. The flavors were deep and it paired wonderfully with the buttery, soft Butter Naan, ideal for soaking up the sauce. The service was friendly and attentive and the restaurant has a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The portion sizes are generous, making it excellent value for money. The location is convenient and it’s a great spot for family dinners or casual outings with friends. Overall, Needoo Grill delivers on taste, presentation, and quality. While the Mango Lassi could be a bit thicker, the mains more than make up for it. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Punjabi or Pakistani grill dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu.

5 /5 Abu Shahriyer: We had an amazing experience at Needo’s and the food did not disappoint. For starters, we ordered kebabs and samosas – both were fresh, full of flavour, and set the tone for the meal perfectly. The crispy samosas paired with the tender, spiced kebabs were a great beginning. For mains, we went with the Dry Lamb Bhuna and Daal. The lamb was beautifully cooked, rich with spices, and packed with flavour, while the daal was comforting and hearty – exactly what you’d want alongside a meat dish. The real star of the evening, however, was the Lamb Chops. Perfectly marinated, juicy, and grilled to perfection, they were without a doubt the highlight of the entire meal – smoky, tender, and bursting with flavour. Easily the best item we tried, and highly recommended to anyone visiting. The service was warm and welcoming, and the sizzling platters added to the lively dining experience. Overall, Needo’s delivered on both taste and atmosphere – a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, flavourful South Asian food.

5 /5 Kumar Ghosh: must try the lamb chops and the nihari! Biryani was average, shami kebab was v tasty but softer than expected. Service much better than at Tayyabs, cant believe weve not been here sooner!
