There is no fuss here; the emphasis is on filling, heartfelt food that delivers exactly what it promises. I tried the classic, huge breakfast, and I can state that the value for money is unbeatable. ​The tea arrives in a proper mug, and the atmosphere is genuinely friendly. I felt like I had come home: no stress, just a warm welcome and plenty of food. ​North End Cafe is a true local treasure for those seeking the simple charm of the old days rather than modern trends. Its a real haven during the busy week.

5 /5 Perry Blenkarn: Brilliant cafe! Been coming here for around 2 and a half years now. Lovely food, lovely staff, brilliantly run. You couldnt fault it! Easily the best cafe in Portsmouth in my opinion. Carlos & Ellie are great hosts and very welcoming!

5 /5 Dale Brown: The sort of fry-up Ive been craving for a while. Food was lovely and plenty of it, staff were welcoming and friendly and cost more than reasonable. The sort of cafe that needs to be cherished.
