5 /5 Ana Patricia Ferreira Bacchus: We had a truly special time at Petersham Nurseries for lunch with friends yesterday. I arrived a bit earlier to enjoy the plants and flowers outside, so pretty! Lots of colourful dahlias! The restaurant has an amazing display of flowers everywhere too, Instagram perfect! The food was super tasty! The pumpkin risotto with gorgonzola & sage was absolutely delicious! The fish outstanding! All dishes were beautifully presented and had authentic flavours. We had a lovely and memorable experience overall! The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was cosy and elegant.

5 /5 Amy Vetter: We had an amazing date night with FAB food after being told about it by a friend who said it was the best food he had had after the fat duck so we had to try! The place is so cute and special and gives relaxed / romantic vibes. The waitstaff are all friendly & the menu had plenty of options. We chose the 4 course with cocktails for £95 each menu as everything looked good. Staff were knowledgeable and the food was honestly so delicious! The polenta starter and the venison ragu was out of this world! Also the coffee to finish was really nice coffee too! Watch outs: - the ground is a bit uneven (the car park was worst due to the weather) so maybe leave the stilettos at home. - it’s a bit chilly in winter so dress appropriately. Would highly recommend and come again!

5 /5 Miccoli Band Official: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Petersham Nurseries, Richmond – Incredible atmosphere, amazing food & perfect for a special evening Visited Petersham Nurseries in Richmond in July for an evening birthday meal and it was genuinely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London. The setting is unreal — it feels like you’ve escaped into the countryside even though you’re still in Richmond. Surrounded by greenery, candlelight and the greenhouse-style dining space, the atmosphere is calm, stylish and really special. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. We tried a few different dishes and everything felt fresh, seasonal and properly thought through. The starters were packed with flavour (and looked incredible), and the pasta was simple but done perfectly. The steak was a highlight — cooked exactly right, full of flavour, and easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in Richmond. Cocktails were also brilliant. The spicy margarita was easily a standout — strong, balanced, and had the perfect kick. Definitely recommend ordering one. Service was excellent throughout the evening — attentive, friendly and professional without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a special restaurant in Richmond, whether it’s for a birthday, date night or just somewhere with a proper atmosphere, Petersham Nurseries is a must. A unique place with amazing food, great cocktails and one of the best settings in London. Highly recommend.

5 /5 J: My UK trip at the beginning of August was completely impromptu but got lucky having a London girlfriend who had been living there for 5 years (yay to being able to apply for residency!). She gushed over her and her partners trek out to quaint and romantic Richmond and her fine dining experience at the cutest restaurant located in a nursery. Definitely glad I took my butt out there - an easy train ride and one transfer bus away! It was still quite a warm August but so so beautiful. The nursery kind of comes upon you out of nowhere after walking down some hidden paths that pass by picturesque fields and a beautiful but quiet cemetery. The staff are very friendly and kind. Theres a slow but graceful atmosphere with everyone on the nursery grounds. Initially got seated at their café to do a light brunch or afternoon tea, but decided last minute to get up and compare the menu at their restaurant side, which seemed much more intriguing. I realized then that my friend was talking about the restaurant when she spoke of their food. I was seated in the most beautiful greenhouse with very farm-to-table esque vibes, trailing vines and flowers, rustic table setting with delicate decor. The restaurant was packed on a random Wednesday lunch! Highly highly HIGHLY recommend getting reservations well in advance because it was an excruciating wait for almost an hour to get a table as a walk-in (the hosts could not guarantee me seating even if I did wait). The service was impeccable, food was sublime! I ordered the 4 course meal and arrival cocktail for £100 because whenever else would I be able to come out here? Live life with a bang! It was the right choice to get a more well-rounded introduction to the food. Apps started with the Zucchini Fritti and the Melon & Prosciutto. Oh my gosh! The zucchini flowers deep fried were so so so good! I dont think Ive ever had this ingredient before and it was a revelation. The dish came out piping hot. The sauce was very good as well. The honey melon was so sweet and juicy. Starters were the Burrata & poached apricots, and the Paccheri with a tomato sauce and mussels. I loved the burrata! The apricots together with the pink peppercorn definitely elevated this dish! The paccheri was good too, but not my favorite (like a rigatoni pasta with very Chef Boyardy esque flavored tomato sauce lol) but it was nice and smooth. The mains were the Pan Seared Stone Bass (highly recommended and fan favorite) and their Haye Farm chargrilled ribeye aged 35 days. The bass!!! Oh my god, the bass!! I could write poems and dedicate songs to it, it was that good and I could have licked the sauce off the plate clean. It was so divine. Ribeye was okay, not worth the extra supplemental cost. I think it tasted like any steak, nothing out of ordinary. But they ended on a high note with the desserts!! Im so sad but I definitely did NOT take a picture of the dessert menu. I got what seemed like a deconstructed strawberry cheesecake (but with the consistency of flan, and a sugary crust like a creme brulee). It was divine with this basil sauce!! The sorbet was also a refreshing kick, raspberry flavored? But so so good. I have to give it all 5 stars, and dream about coming back whenever I visit London again.

3 /5 M C: Lovely but overpriced. Setting is obviously wonderful - especially in December. Very festive and gorgeous decorations. Quite loud considering but has a nice buzz about it. Food is very good. We were required to order 2 courses (or 3) the burrata was fantastic and the chicken was delightful. Rather small portions but lovely flavours and quality. Cocktails / drinks were also great. Our only issue was the price. I am no stranger to dining out in London and more than happy to pay a premium for nice location / quality food however, this was extortionate. Made worse by the fact you had to have 2 courses as a minimum which was £70!!! Then drinks on top… for a casual Saturday late lunch, the bill for 3 of us came to around £250 which is absolutely absurd. It’s such a shame, as the venue is lovely and food is great but at that price point I just could not justify coming back. You’re essentially sat in a glorified greenhouse and by no means should you be spending that much for that. Especially with outdoor facilities that you have to walk outside to get to!!? Lovely for a special occasion - but even then you are sat in a greenhouse!? And there are plenty other much more premium venues in central London at a similar price point that would hugely exceed what we experienced at Petersham.
