Pork & Co - Kent

Rating: 3.5 /5
Anna Sutton I can’t understand why this place has such a low rating. I ordered a bacon sandwich which was absolutely delicious. Filled with five or six crispy rashers in a good quality bun. Hit the spot and I can’t wait to go back when I return to Whitstable!

Samantha Wordsworth Incredible New Year’s Eve lunch with friends. The service was 10/10 and every dish amazing. What a great way to end the year. Cannot recommend this place enough. I wish I got more photos but we were too busy tucking in. Thank you for helping us end the year with great service and food.

drift. - Kent

Tia Fattal I will start with wow! Sometimes you stumble across a little diamond in the rough. Drift is that! I have been blessed with having the chance of eating in some amazing restaurants from the Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons to the Burj Khalifa. But these places are diamonds that the world can see. The drift is still hidden tucked away in a little sea side town. A little secret where its food does all the shining. A visit is a must, tuck yourself into this family run restaurant, and be prepared for the dishes to wow you. From the oysters to the backed cheesecake everything fresh and handled by the chef with grace and care. You will love it!

Glyn Pettit Love this Spoons the decor is fantastic and no expense spared on the interior design of this former picture house. Named after Peter Cushing the film actor who for a time lived close by in Whitstable.

Thirty Nine Whitstable - Kent

Rating: 4.4 /5
Jenny B This is a creative, welcoming restaurant with a talented chef. I visited Whitstable with two good friends and visiting 39 (or Laurens as I prefer to call it) was one of our highlights. Whitstable is already a place worth celebrating for its pretty scenery, clear blue sea and independent shops, and this place was a hidden gem - though not so hidden as we found it through good Google reviews! We were very kindly welcomed by Fairlie and Roy and enjoyed the cocktails, with Head Chef Laurens Lemon Drop being the winner! The food was a delicious fusion of flavours! We found that five of the small plates shared by three of us was filling enough that we didnt ask for a desert. I would recommend giving 39/Laurens a try for its food, creative gallery feel and friendly ambience and if Roy is there he will happily tell you about the local area so do ask him!

Thirst Love Café - Kent

John Mash Lovely little cafe with top quality food and coffee. It’s a little of the tourist track but well worth making the effort. The sausage sandwich was delicious with high quality butcher’s sausages.
