4 /5 Jay: It was a lovely warm day—the kind that invites you to slow down, laugh a little louder, and let the sunshine soak into your bones. What’s better than reconnecting with long-time friends, clinking glasses of something cold and refreshing under the open sky? Not much, I’d say.
This unassuming establishment, nestled right in the heart of town, has been a constant through the years. Familiar, comfortable, and refreshingly down-to-earth, it’s the kind of place you don’t need a reservation or a dress code to enjoy. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere unpretentious, and the offerings—particularly their great selection of draught beers and wide range of spirits—speak for themselves.
The service? Warm, welcoming, and just attentive enough without being overbearing. It felt more like visiting an old friend’s backyard than dining at a business—and that’s meant in the best way possible.
There was no fanfare, no over-the-top presentation, just good drinks, good company, and the kind of setting that reminds you how beautiful simplicity can be.
Sometimes, that’s all you really need. A lovely afternoon well spent—and one I’d gladly repeat.
