2 /5 Sam Rowe: Variable service, main was quick but kids desert was so slow we left after 20 minutes before it was delivered. Food that did come was good, tasty and hot. Shame portions were small for the price. “Large Loaded fries” wasn’t large. One of the burgers comes without chips for no apparent reason. It is in the menu if you notice but we didn’t. I really don’t like being asked for a tip BEFORE I’ve been served so I’d rate the payment system as flawed too. Pizza was lovely. Prices gone up a lot. £15.50 for a burger on its own is excessive.

3 /5 J: Service from bar team was great, very smiley. Cocktails were good. Food was terrible. Ordered a £18 smash burger that wasnt smashed. Literally 2 burger patties stacked with some lettuce, plastic cheese and a burnt bun that tasted like charcoal. Partner ordered the chicken fajita burrito, expecting some colour and flavour, plain chicken and plain rice in a wrap. Beige. Looking at some reviews (hindsight is a wonderful thing) this seems to be normal for the food. Wont revisit for food, would revisit for a drink.

5 /5 Chris: I had drinks at this pub for my 50th birthday with about 50 friends and family. In the lead up to the night, the staff were great in answering any questions I had to ensure the night went well. On the night, we were allocated a large area and the staff gave us the shuffle board and darts for free which was a really nice gesture. The pub is very clean and tidy, with a great selection of drinks and really nice food. Staff on the night were great and nothing was too much of a problem. Everyone had a great night and I am really pleased I used this location and would highly recommend to others. Thank you to all the staff at Pier 5.

5 /5 Will Dennington: Delicious food with quick and efficient service! The loaded fries were superb. Returned today, had the loaded fries, cajun onion rings & chicken wings. The food was even better than I remembered and that takes some doing! The ordering system is very quick and efficient, scan the QR code, enter you table number and order away. Pay when you place your order so you dont have to wait for the bill. Service was very quick (it was quiet at the time).
