4 /5 Giles Bird: Rather small and cramped, but nicely fitted out. Service is of a high professional quality, but it’s not what you’d call welcoming, even when they’re uncrowded. Choices of teas is excellent, but latte coffees are much better elsewhere and nearby. The scrambled eggs for breakfast are beautifully cooked, yet the formulaic slices of toast don’t do them justice. Overall, it’s pretty pricey - round £35 all in - for scrambled eggs (admittedly with mushrooms or smoked salmon) and a hot drink for two of us.
