3 /5 Shan P: Went for a meal with my partner and baby, in hopes of supporting a local business. Owners are lovely people very welcoming and the restaurant was homely.
The food… For my main meal I ordered Fried chicken, rice and peas, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The rice and peas to put it simply was BURNT from the smell alone I don’t see why it was even served and I am very disappointed with that. It was inedible and tasted as bad as it smelt. The fried chicken tasted great however, the pieces I received were mostly bone. I received a very generous slice of mac and cheese and the coleslaw was nice.
I also had to request for the plates to be removed from the table as although the table was full the waiter still was bringing more dishes without taking the initiative.
My overall experience I personally wouldn’t go back but the issues we all minor in a sense that they could easily be corrected.
