5 /5 Brian Doherty: We had our sons 1st birthday in the back "Garden Room" and I have to say it was the absolute perfect place. The staff went above and beyond and were incredibly helpful before the event and again on the day itself. Anna in particular was super helpful. Everyone raved about the food and the fact we had the space to ourselves was just ideal. We brought our own music (for kids) and also brought some play mats and toys as the ground there is natural stone. We also go to decorate the place to our liking which was great. 1 /5 Jodie S: I found the atmosphere in this pub quite disappointing, largely due to the behaviour of the staff. Their classist, snobbish, and condescending attitude made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Despite describing themselves on their Instagram as “your friendly neighbourhood pub,” our experience was far from that. The staff came across as elitist and not particularly inclusive, and their children were allowed to roam around, even banging their fists on our table for attention while we were trying to eat. By the time we finished our meal, we couldn’t wait to leave. A public house should have a warm, welcoming vibe. Instead the two gentlemen working here are letting the establishment down with their poor attitude towards their customers. I’ll be choosing to eat & drink elsewhere.

Very attentive service ( our server was Susan - Lovely lady) The menu had a decent selection. We thoroughly enjoyed the starters, mains and particularly the desserts. Great selection of drinks. Lovely chilled vibes and we would definitely return

2 /5 Emily Brown: The pub itself is so lovely, cosy and shows the sport! Unfortunately though the two men who man or stand at the bar working or owning the pub could not be more rude! Unapproachable, short, condescending and starring at you to make you feel uncomfortable probably because you’re not a “regular”. Makes the atmosphere on edge because you don’t want to go to the bar! Extremely disappointing and have now experienced this more than three times. Do not recommend as they are so unfriendly!
