5 /5 Keryn Mason: Perfect location, a lovely old charm hotel, with comfy beds and some rooms even have a sea view. A heated in door pool which guests can use for free. A very tasty breakfast served by very friendly staff. Will definitely be staying there again.

2 /5 David Johnson: The only good thing about this Shearing Christmas Break was our room (45). The hotel made a fuss about getting our first day evening meal sorted. I picked belly pork, when it arrived it was a hard pork chop. I said to the waiter I had ordered belly pork, he went away came back to say chef said it is belly pork. The only good meal of our 4 days stay was Christmas day lunch. One day my partner asked the stand in manager for a bread roll as there was a plate and knife on the table, he said you can only have a bread roll if you have soup. There was no wine waiter in the dinning room. The entertainment was awful. We had forgotten the time for dinner on Boxing day, we asked the would be manager, his reply was you were told at the arrival meeting and walked away. Never again will we go on a Shearings holiday.

5 /5 Sam Bell: Excellent affordable hotel. Friendly service and very welcoming. Great facilities including the bar and swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious. Couldnt fault it for the money we paid. Changing rooms in the pool areas (mens) could maybe do with a bench but apart from that it was absolutely fine.

5 /5 Butler Anita “The adventurer”: A nice hotel, great location. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool is nice, good shower in the changing room, nice and warm changing area. Our room was really clean, a good size bathroom too, plenty of room. Comfy bed. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk too. Breakfast choice was fabulous, an excellent choice of food offered. Breakfast was included in the price of our stay, which was really good value. Would definitely visit again.

4 /5 Sean Rayner: Great hotel good value for money We stayed from the 21st over Christmas to the 2nd Jan so spent Christmas and new year here with our 2 children, staff were friendly and very helpful Food was great and accommodating for the kids too, when they weren’t doing food other places were recommended too Room was very spacious at the top of the hotel, they helped me up to the room with presents which was unexpected but I was really grateful for. We would definitely stay again
