And - the table setting was an absolute standout - the guys loved it - and then the food was great .. drinks service flowing and the entire event was just fantastic. Heartily recommend.

1 /5 R Jaciszka: Everyone knows you need to make a profit on things, but serving a £2.75 Tesco value Camembert, with terrible reviews hasten to add, for £18.50 is wild. Shame because good atmosphere and staff. Will never return until you stop taking your customers for fools.

2 /5 kathryn wade: I paid £17.50 for the burger pictured below. It was the cheapest bit of bread, one bit of chicken inside (no salad etc). Smallest amount of chips - I could get more at McDonald’s for 1/3 of the price. Most disappointing burger! We questioned the burger / if it was the right one when arrived and the staff were saying the standards are set from above. They were lovely and understanding but if you want a burger, go elsewhere! The drinks and atmosphere was good. The person I went with had the Mac and cheese starter and truffle fries starters as her main and it was much better portion sizing and value for money.

5 /5 Issie Barrett Kearns: Such a good spot for a thirsty Thursday drink. Staff were amazing, I have to shout of both Harlie and Aiden, both assets to the pub! They were So lovely & welcoming !! Even got a ketchup love heart on my burger xx

2 /5 Sophie Field: Sooo disappointed here. Had a 3pm booking but got our roast at home 5pm no communication that there was a long wait for food, asked 3 times when will the food be coming and only on the third time they said oh there was a long wait for mains. No apology from anyone. Food was nice but very small portion for a £23 roast dinner. Desserts they had ran out of two of the options we ordered then ordered an alternative for it to never arrive! Won’t be returning - better food and service at the Avalon up the road!
