5 /5 Ifiyenia Kolla: Lovely little pub/hotel in a great location. Staff were lovely and chilled out. Room was comfortable, very quiet, best night sleep in months. Got fish and chips and it was outstanding! Happy to go back again.

4 /5 Sue: Great location and the staff were excellent. They were so friendly and accommodating. The radiator in our unsuited bathroom didnt appear to be working (however, we didnt report this to staff) and the mattress is probably due for replacing. However, the staff, atmosphere, quality of the food and drink, and the cleanliness more than made up for it. We are looking forward to going back the next time we plan to visit family in the area.

5 /5 Graeme: Highly recommended small pub/hotel. Travelled from Oxford for a family get together and decided to stay over. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed in hotels at twice the price and had terrible service! Room was spotlessly clean everywhere. Plenty of towels, toiletries and nice white linen. Couldn’t ask for more. 5 stars.

1 /5 James: Decent staff. However the room was dirty. Pictures hanging off the wall, ceilings not holding the lights up. Basic stuff in a hotel which should be addressed. Dust everywhere and just basically not clean. Didnt even want to shower there!

5 /5 Catherine Short: Sunday roast- my husband and I went for a roast. Wow! I had the beef and my husband had the lamb. Excellent service, value for money and absolutely brilliant meals. I would definitely recommend and we will certainly be back very soon
