Alex Anderson Really friendly, quick service, good portion sizes and really tasty lunch! As a bonus the cakes, flapjacks, cookies etc... are all only a quid each! Anywhere else you go youll pay £2.50 for a slice of cake or a cookie. Been coming here for lunch almost every day for a few weeks now and really happy with everything Ive been served. Would recommend to anyone on the estate. Better yet, they even deliver!

L First time trying this place and i have no complaints. The kebab was on point and chips were good. I’d probably request for salt and vinegar on the chips next time but other than that i thought it hit the standards of what I would say is good kebab and chips! You get decent amount and get salad and bread which is a lot more than other places. Plus it was reasonably priced. The lamb and chicken doner is tasty! The wings I’d say are pretty standard but nothing wrong with them! I’d definitely come back and recommend!

NiBl 72 An outstanding evening meal for a family birthday. This is the second time I have eaten here and it really is superb. Beautifully decorated, with luxury touches. The menu is detailed so needs to be studied. The food is cooked and presented to perfection. Even the salad leaf, tossed in oil tastes amazing! We were a party of 5 and ate starters, mains, just 1 dessert and coffees. Everything we had was exceptional. The owner greets you like family and really makes the experience a special one. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was busy.. this isn’t surprising considering the quality of food, service and ambience. One of the nicest local restaurants I have been to. Highly recommended.

Serena Riley Ive become a huge fan of this place, the customer service is really good, even during times of busy periods with students from a nearby college. The food tastes fantastic, the chips are always perfectly crispy and fluffy inside. The chicken is not heavily greasy which is something I really appreciate. Megan Fairhead We went in for a spontaneous roast on Sunday and we are SO glad we did. We chatted with locals when we were waiting to be seated and the fire was crackling away in the corner- it was the perfect Sunday feeling. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect! You can tell that Stuart the chef takes pride in his cooking as even the different meats had their own designated gravy - you dont get this often! Overall, we had a lovely afternoon at The Queens Head and Debbie went above and beyond to accommodate us. I would recommend booking to ensure you secure your spot as this little pub is really thriving - thanks for having us!
