3 /5 Tom Gilbert: Reception staff very polite and explain things well, gate is open all the time little concerning for security reasons.
Restaurant staff a little unprofessional at times, loud conversation’s been had for all to overhear, music not working in restaurant also so atmosphere was a little of, seemed a little disorganised too but on the bright side, desserts were very nice so compliments to the chef, you actually have to pay for hot water from the machines in the reception which is a little crazy to me but sure.
Lodge is nice and spacious lovely modern look, but cleanliness wise and from what I’ve see from other reviewers on trip advisor common in recent times, floor was dirty in areas, black mould in the shower, hairs in the second bathroom, kettle is full of limescale lovely cup of tea with limescale goes down well.
Not the best by any stretch, cleaning team really need to do a better job, hot water needs to be offered freely from the machines and please give people decent looking kettles bit of lemon and baking soda cleans them up well not difficult.
Otherwise, stay was somewhat enjoyable, very quiet this time of year which is very pleasant and the views of the course are a great sight to see in the mornings.
