5 /5 Fabienne: Just up the road from us and absolutely great. The Oscar Wilde room is our favourite for a delicious freshly made cocktail and their Sunday lunch is always yummy. Lovely staff, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

3 /5 Lisa Matthews: Lovely pub, we visit regularly but rarely order food as it’s quite expensive! We decided to order nachos (£17.95) for a sharing platter and the guacamole portion was so small it was gone after a few nachos and I had to ask for more. I was charged £2.50 for an extra thimble. £20.45 is really extortionate for what was served. It is a nice pub though with kids play area out the back and an outdoor seating area that has heaters to keep warm in the winter. *I’ve tried nachos in many restaurants and this is one place where I wouldn’t order again because it’s such poor value. Shame!

5 /5 Sharon Bruwer: A lovely pub with well-planned spaces. More than ample seating whether you are a large group, a family or a couple. Children are certainly welcome here, but the outside playground keeps children happily occupied and adults who prefer to be undisturbed by children at play, will be content. As a couple, we pop in weekly, although we have not had a meal at The Thomas A. Beckett. The chips are really good though, chunky and cooked just right. The meal portions are ample and well-presented and certainly look tasty.

4 /5 Paul Smith: Visited this pub for a Sat lunch, primarily because it has a nice kids play area (surrounded by a fence, keeping the kids safely locked in). The lovely dining room is housed inside a typical, gorgeous, large English pub. Apart from the restaurant, the pub housed a few other great spots to sit and have a beer, including and outside beer garden. After trying a pub staple (pie), vegetarian risotto, and kids chicken burger, the food didnt disappoint either.
