5 /5 Jamie Paddington: We will be back!! Such lovely service, not just for our table but for the others that were in around the same time. Very polite & helpful. The food was AMAZING! Best local roast we have had in a while. Everything cooked to perfection. Just look at the cuts of meat, yum!

5 /5 MSJ: Nice and big pub with a good menu section of food.and all you would expect for drinks as well. There is a car park next door with a very good amount of space. The food they serve is really well portioned and is really tasty! I would even argue the portions are too big, but dont think its a bad thing at all! The outdoor seating area is perfect for those summer days and the indoor area has a few TVs scattered around to watch the latest game should you wish! Overall thumbs up.

3 /5 Sammy: Ok here’s my honest review of a Sunday roast… Price: £70 for a roast for 2 and a child - not bad Ask about the Camembert challenge !! You get a whole Camembert and you have to eat the whole thing with 5 little pieces of bread. If you want more bread it’s £2 per 3 little pieces Food: 7/10 - cauliflower cheese was the best bit Meat is low quality, Yorkshires not great, potatoes ok not great Everything comes out swimming in gravy Service: Grace was lovely really nice, funny, smiling and happy to help There was also a new lad who seemed to have just started, he was very polite too

5 /5 Andrew Bartram: Had two consecutive nights evening meals here. Friday/Saturday. Food very delicious, attentive staff. Quiet in the restaurant, vibrant atmosphere in the bar. Recommended by Botleigh villa b&b 10 mins up the road. Will come again when in the area.

5 /5 Atlas: Really nice pub on the edge of Rochester, with an excellent line up on tap. The prices were excellent too, as a pint of Amstel was under £5! I dont remember the last time I got an Amstel for that price! The garden is a particular highlight, as it overlooks the Medway, and as it was a nice sunny day it made for the perfect beer garden. The garden itself is lovely too, with lots of seats and decorated with flowers and plants
