Allen I saw some interesting comments for this place, so i wanted to give a shot. Well, its pretty good for this price which actually surprised me. And the location is great. only 15mins walk from london bridge

hare super Stopped by CORD on Fleet Street for a weekday lunch and honestly didn’t expect it to be this busy — or this good. I always assumed people around here would just grab a quick sandwich, but the dining room was full of City workers actually taking their time and enjoying a proper meal. The space is beautifully designed. You walk in through a casual café area, then further inside it opens up into a calm, elegant dining room. The open kitchen is a great touch — you can see everything happening, which makes the whole experience feel very transparent and relaxed. Food-wise, everything we ordered was spot on. The A5 Wagyu and bluefin tuna starters were delicate and full of flavour. For mains, the BBQ monkfish was perfectly cooked and the Highland venison en croûte was rich and comforting without being heavy. The peanut soufflé to finish was light, warm and absolutely worth the wait. It’s rare to find a restaurant of this level right in the middle of the City. If you work nearby and want to slow down for once — whether for a long lunch, a business meal or a quiet date — CORD is well worth a visit.

Harry A Considering the quality and price of the food on offer here, it really should be busier! You’re always met with a smile here, and the service is incredibly prompt. Would recommend, and a much better option than most of the bland chains nearby.

Alex Pierce From the service, to the atmosphere, to the food prices, and the food everything was fabulous. We ordered a variety of dishes including the crab and lemon pasta, the short rib pasta, and the lemon chicken. Everything was great. Some shared a bottle of wine, with great selection, and others had a meter to sours, though limited liquor menu. We shared the chocolate mousse and tiramisu for dessert. Prices were reasonable and portions were plenty. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. But, suggest getting a reservation in advance!

Edward Katia “Katie” I was invited there for dinner by my daughter, and we went together. From the outside the location isn’t particularly striking, but once you step inside it’s a completely different world. You enter through a narrow little passage and a small door, only to discover a spacious and beautiful interior — a wine bar, great food, a lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and friendly staff. I enjoyed the place immensely.

Desiree Jagt Lovely place. A very big wine card. I just went for a tea and a delicious apple crumble after a long walk. But the venue was so nice. Also nice service.
