Roni Hass We came after ice skating in the Battersea Christmas rink. The service was extremely attentive and nice. We took the eggs Benedict royal pancake and classic syrup and chocolate pancakes for dessert. The pancakes themselves were really good flavour and were a very good base for all the different toppings. I wouldve skipped the chocolate next time, the syrup by itself was very good. The coffee was good (a lighter roast but not too sour).

Bijal Patel We went on a weekday, so I’m sure the vibe will be different at the weekend. We were the only ones there for a good 30-40 mins (7.15pm on a Thursday), but a few more people came in afterwards. Don’t let it deter you though - the food was phenomenal & the service was on point. The food is some of the best indo-chinese I’ve had!

Coco di Mama - Pasta Kitchen - Bexleyheath - Bexley

Sam Lathrope Have ordered from here using Uber eats many times, this time around however there was a ridiculous amount of pasta water in both pots. Never had a problem before so really disappointed. Uber doesnt have an option to describe the problem in too much detail but the fact that this happened with both pots suggests this could become an issue in the future.

Sina Adami Ardestani Im in London for a short trip and after going on the London Eye, I found this cute little Italian spot, and as soon as I saw their menu, I decided to give them a try. I was greeted by Mahfuz, one of the servers who was from Turkey and made me feel welcomed and gave me a nice little table by the window. I got to practice my Turkish with him which was great. Ariana was my server and I normally let the servers of the restaurants give me suggestions and I was not disappointed at all. She recommended the Arancini which was a great starter and for the main course she suggested the Linguini Gambaretti( I hope I spelled it correct) and it was 10 out of 10. Definitely will recommend giving them a try. Nice little crew , that deserve all the praise. As someone whos owned an Italian Restaurant in the US, I enjoyed watching them work as a team to take great care of everyone in the restaurant and they were busy the entire time. This was the only restaurant in London though that didnt have service charge which in my opinion they should add automatic tip to the bills for all the hard and great work they do. Grazie La Cucina Mamma!

The Kids Tell Bad Jokes Was tempted to have 5 Guys takeaway delivered (Im in Oxford for overnight for a conference), but decided to go independent instead. Nearly didnt order from here as was looking at Deliveroo and couldnt see milkshakes available (which I definitely wanted), but they were available if I ordered from Just Eat... Unavailable to order on their own, but could be ordered if I added as an upgrade to the meal deal drink, bizarrely. Anyway, very glad I did! Smokey Texas Burger looked a bit small, but was DELICIOUS. Cajun fries also great. Probably would be too spicy for my kids (and theyre not exactly wimps) but spot on for me. Funnily enough, the oreo milkshake was the only disappointment - with no straw supplied and a big wodge of whipped cream on top, it was tricky to drink, and I was more looking for a thick McDonalds style sludgy shake, where this was a bit thinner. But still nice enough and it hit the spot. Would definitely recommend the burger and chips though!

Tudor Restaurant - Kent

Angela Bennett Today, for the fifth year running we had our usual Pre-Christmas lunch at the Tudor tearooms in Whitstable. We like to try and visit as often as we can because the food is always so good, the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is calm and cosy. Today was the last day of the Christmas menu and, as ever, it was the closest to our own Christmas Day meal as we have ever had. There were four of us, at the last sitting (2pm) and all of us had the (turkey and all the trimmings main course. Three os had the prawn cocktail which is exactly what we have at home, very often as a first course to a Sunday roast and always on Christmas Day. Served with brown bread and butter it was generous helping. The turkey roadtbwasbscrumptiousvwith four veg and extra gravy was available sausagemeat stuffing together with a largebsdd as usage wrapped in bacon were tasty accompaniments. Two of us had Christmas pudding with delicious custard and well made pudding it was. Again, I don’t eat Christmas pudding anywhere else as we make our own Christmas puddings to an old traditional family recipe so other than the Tudor tearooms no other comes even close! One of our group had the cheesecake and especially loved the shards of stem ginger, whilst the other had the black forest dessert which she said was delicious. A small glass of mulled wine started the lovely meal admirably. Wonderful usual, looking forward to next year - our Christmas starts with this visit where we always take a group photo on the beach! I’m already looking forward to my next visit and midweek roast dinner!
