Anoop Thomas My wife and I visited Afrizi for our anniversary after a recommendation from a friend, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was incredibly flavourful, fresh, and truly touched our souls with its authenticity - you can tell every dish is made with love and tradition. We enjoyed everything we ordered: the perfectly fried plantains, juicy chicken wings, delicious mutton stew with jollof rice, and the chicken stew with jollof rice. Every bite was a delight! To make our celebration extra special, the lovely team surprised us with complimentary puff-puffs topped with biscoff, coconut, and pistachios - such a thoughtful and delicious touch. The staff were warm, polite, and provided exceptional customer service throughout our meal. We also loved their niche selection of beers and ciders, which paired wonderfully with the food. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. Afrizi is truly a hidden gem in Basingstoke, and we can’t wait to return to try even more dishes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Nigerian cuisine and a wonderful dining experience!

Bianca Pegrume Went for the Sunday roast. If you’d like the pork I’d suggest getting there early. However, the lamb was just as good. A very good portion of meat that is well cooked, flavourful and tender. Potatoes could be crispier but still enjoyable. Overall, the vegetables, sides and meat were highly enjoyable

David Simkins A beautifully appointed restaurant with a few eclectic touches; from the ground floor reception to the sixth floor restaurant to the seventh floor bar. A cool, buzzy atmosphere. Most importantly the food is superb; full of flavour and exquisitely presented. The service is friendly and very attentive. Prices are high, but worth it. Will most definitely return.

Louise I celebrated my birthday here and had the best drinks / desserts. The staff was so friendly, a reason to come back Davide, Rui and Omi were so welcoming and friendly!

RORA KAY Highly recommend. The food was absolutely amazing, the roast chicken the kabobs and the curries where absolutely lovely and not expensive at all . I would highly recommend this establishment for anyones next family gathering or just dinner for the family . Also the kheer and halwa are 10/10
