The star dish is a bubbling pan of eggs bathed in olive oil, studded with blistered cherry tomatoes and a gentle sprinkle of herbs; it tastes like sunshine and slow Sundays. The bread comes thick and fresh, perfect for tearing and wiping up every last drop of the rich, tangy sauce. The colors alone—red tomatoes, green herbs, creamy whites, golden bread—make the table look like a beginner’s painting of a perfect morning. What truly elevates the experience is the warmth of the people who serve it. Local women tending the café move with an easy grace; their smiles, quiet attentiveness, and friendly chatter make you feel like a welcomed guest rather than a customer.

Sabrina S I honestly can’t say enough good things about Casa Vecchia. It’s one of those places that just feels special from the moment you walk in. The owner and his wife are the loveliest people ever – so welcoming and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about every single customer. It has such a warm, family-run feel which makes such a difference. The food is unreal every single time. Fresh, full of flavour and cooked perfectly – you can really taste the quality in every dish. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently amazing and always leaves us wanting to come back for more. The portions are generous and you can tell it’s all made with love. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, perfect for date nights, family dinners or catching up with friends. It’s honestly one of my favourite spots and I recommend it to everyone. If you’re in Tunbridge Wells and haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out

Kassepi Rai My absolute favourite restaurant for both comfort food (whenever I am craving a hearty Nepali dinner), or snacking on a huge variety starters with friends. Each dish is guaranteed to be delicious! And you always feel cared for by the sweetest and most attentive wait staffs

Sally I was against the clock and requested for a speedy scampi and chips. It arrived 5 minutes later and was both delicious and beautifully presented at a reasonable price. Lovely atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend a visit.

Sarah Rackliff We had a wonderful pre-Christmas meal at Rostick. Every course was delicious. Dishes ordered included scallops and meatballs to start, Steak Diane, lobster ravioli (my favourite) and veal t-bone for mains, Tiramisù, Affogato and bread pudding for desserts. The service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend.

Harry Sykes I went to The Pied Bull with my girlfriend and her sister and parents and I couldn’t fault it one bit. I ordered the chicken burger with chips while my girlfriend had the steak pie which was cooked to perfection. Proper pub food for offer that were reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us, especially Daisy as she was our waitress throughout our time there. The whole place was really clean and cosy with classic 80’s and 90’s music that fit the vibe they’re going for. Great food and lovely atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back again soon!
