1 /5 Anon: I was recommended to go here and it was one of the worst nail salon experiences I have ever had and will never go back nor recommend. They do not soak off gel, instead use a strong gel remover polish (which they got on my skin) + drill; gel was not all removed and my skin and cuticles are now irritated and painful from this and fixing their errors. This is the first time I am in pain from gel removal. Hygiene is poor, switching between clients regularly without washing hands. Mistakes were made and treated as it is normal, there is no attention to detail. Despite fixing my nails passive aggressively by aggressively buffing off the top coat + some colour, they repainted the nails, now some of my nails are thick and bulky. I was thinking to walk out early on, and I should have, it got progressively worse. They are unprofessional, rude and have poor customer service. I found them very unwelcoming as a new client, they pick and choose who to be friendly to. Paying full price for this experience was laughable; no discount was offered to rectify the mistakes and poor service. I see similar reviews of this nature. Ironic as the salon is called Five Stars; I would give them 0 stars. If you care about customer service, nail, cuticle health, hygiene and a good finish, do not go here. If you are happy with a quick job, then go ahead. There are better options in the Windsor centre for a much better service, experience and price.
