5 /5 Saboh Ndomi: Food was absolutely delicious, staffs very, very friendly and welcoming . Great location, atmosphere was peaceful, calm and very nice ,quiet and clean. Service was great, and before we knew it, food was served!

1 /5 Thandi Zikhali: My friend and I went there for a meal and ordered grilled fish, rice and yam. When the fish arrived it was catfish that we were not told about it. Anyway the fish looked very unclean and the smell was atrocious. When we told the cook about our dissatisfaction she told us that they only do catfish, we told her that it wasnt cleaned properly she just laughed at us and told us that she cant do anything about it. I took a photo but I dont see where to upload it. Poor service and her attitude stank. I will never go there again.

3 /5 BLIBIB x Beast: New African cuisine restaurant in the middle of Portsmouth. I ordered the Egusi soup and White goat soup as well as the chicken gizzard. The chicken gizzard and plantain were delicious. These were flavourful with a powerful kick and slight sweetness. The egusi soup was my next favourite again packed with flavour and a kick! I was not a fan of the white goat soup, it lacked oomph and there was very little meat for the price paid. I ordered a takeaway, but picked up. The atmosphere was bleak, this may be improved with some music in the background. Service was also okay. Added bonus that the meat is halal which is always a win. I’m eating this a 3 just because I have had better and unfortunately I don’t think I’d be ordering again. It is definitely worth a try if it’s something you haven’t had.
