Max Doone Stumbled across Steph’s while heading to Southwark park with some friends and decided we needed a big meal to-go to keep us warm. I’m so glad we decided to go here rather than any option nearby - the service was incredible (walked us through the options and explained what came with a meal vs what didn’t clearly), food was fresh and delicious, the prices were very fair, and we were in and out in no time! I had half oxtail half brown stew chicken, rice and peas, mac and cheese, plantain, a festival and a beef patty, plus a drink, all for about £20, and not a single complaint about any of it! Thank you to the staff for being so lovely, I’ll come back next time I’m nearby!

Eva Yao Great Food, Thoughtful Service, and Local Charm Had a wonderful meal here! The service was genuinely kind and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. Portions were big, the food was delicious, and prices were very fair—great value all around. It’s always nice to support a local business that clearly puts heart into what they do. Dawn Elsa Ajay The ambience was great - cozy and inviting. I had the BĂșn riĂȘu cua and it was exactly the comforting noodle soup I had been craving. The staff was incredibly attentive and lovely. He even asked if I wanted more chilies to adjust the spice which was thoughtful. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Hannah Worthington Food was delicious- all the dishes we tried were fantastic and authentic- and very reasonably priced. Staff were so kind, friendly and attentive. What an amazing local Indian restaurant, we cant wait to go back. Would 10/10 recommend!
