Lex Amazing music, food and service. Music will have you wanting to stay all night. Would like to mention our waitress Beyoncé who was so lovely and attentive! Make sure to book on for the Friday events as gets packed.

Keith Bridges Nice, sophisticated décor and a friendly waitress. The food was excellent — huge portions and beautifully presented. Only downside was items missing from the menu, which meant our vegetarian diner was limited to just the vegetable skewers. That was disappointing. Aside from that, a very good experience. jemma willis 1st time trying this new Japanese in lewes. We arrived at 8pm on a sunday. The food was incredible. Fresh and good portions. One of the most authentic Japanese meals we have had. The atmosphere is chilled, and the decor is authentic for Japanese restaurants. Simple and stylish. The waitress was so lovely and we chatted after the meal and even though we were late eating and they were closing, we never felt rushed at all. We also got complimentary mochi which was so kind of them. We will definitely be back regularly.

Sarah Archer-palmer I had a surprise birthday last Saturday organised by my daughter. It was for 22 people, preordered food & wine. Unfortunately 5 people couldn’t come but the staff, especially JP and Alex, went out of their way to change the tables, move chairs etc, relay everything. It was quick, efficient and calm. They took over everything. The food was excellent, I had fish & chips. The chef was very flexible with timings and all food came out at once. I know everyone enjoyed their meal as there were lots of compliments! The rugby was on the TVs but didn’t overbear our table and lots of us enjoyed it in the background. This encouraged the fun, laid back atmosphere. The end of the evening was relaxed with making payments and the flexibility to chop and change was very appreciated. Hannah had an excellent team which goes to show she is an excellent manager. We are locals and really enjoyed showing off The Drummond in all her updated glory to my close friends and family. shai zach Fantastic Italian sandwich shop. Small menu of around 10 sandwiches, all from the same crunchy fresh bread and full of quality ingredients, freshly made to order. We had the 2nd sandwich on the menu with salami, aubergine, artichoke spread and a bit of fennel, sounds interesting and it was delicious. I cant wait to go back there again to try another sandwich from the menu. Such a great find. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.
