Chrissy Wilkes Had brunch at Megans for my wifes birthday. The food was superb but the service was something else! Tania went above and beyond for us and made the occasion extra special. She made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, was funny and attentive. Tania is a real credit to Megans and sets the bar when it comes to customer service.

Tom Middleton Cafe Verditer never disappoints. The food is exceptional every time, the staff are brilliant and welcoming, and the service is always tip top.

Julija Meskovska Cozy and tiny place in the heart of Barking. That’s probably only decent food you can get in here. Very delicious food every single time since they opened. Friendly staff. Affordable pricing and generous portions. Even my fussy child adores them.

Tom Flanagan If youre thinking of booking The Depot for a wedding stop reading this and get it booked immediately. We had the absolute best day there and its a great venue to get married in. Shannon and Imogen couldnt be more helpful and its basically like having your own wedding planners, The Depot also put everything out and pack everything down so its about as stress free as possible. We normally find wedding food pretty average but the canapes and buffet here were absolutely banging. We also had a couple of cocktail hours with multiple bespoke cocktails and shots and this was handled with ease. Our wedding was about as non traditional and DIY as you can get and included a 4 piece string quartet, a service in the Depot, a couple of musical performances and a DJ, all handled expertly and with ease. Layla This place is something else. I have lived near this place for 15 years and not known it was there. I now consider this 15 years of lost Countryman pizza experiences. The owners were so friendly. The food was delicious. The restaurant was quaint and its a BYO. What more do you need!? We will be returning!

is I visited Kintan recently. I’m Japanese, and I was really impressed with how delicious the yakiniku was. The meat, miso soup and rice all had a wonderfully nostalgic, “home-style” taste for me. The restaurant is spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. They also offer halal meat and are careful about allergies, so I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s interested.
