Bexley Charcoal Grill - (Near Bexley, london)

Bobby Gillett Jacqui was our server this evening and was amazing. Such a warm and attentive host. The food was incredible and I even tried and stretched for pudding! I didn’t do too badly with only a little bit left on the plate! I’d highly recommend the filet steak medium rare as it was so tasty and the best steak I’ve had in so long. Definitely will recommend.

Zumral Kaplankiran The pizzas had a perfectly crispy base and fresh flavourful toppings. The service was just as good, Sev and Maddy were super friendly and made the experience even better. Big shoutout to Chef Tommy for the incredible food. Definitely coming back!!!!

Steve Rose This place is amazing and you get actual chicken tenders and the batter is tasty. The sauces are perfect and massive portion. Honestly, this place is a gold mine and a real Hidden gem in Bexley village. Forget Wingstop, go WingIt Go for the Wing & Mix plus 5 tenders.

Cherub P A group of 8 of us girls booked at this restaurant for a set 3 course Christmas meal. The food was delicious and large portions. The price we paid was amazingly cheap too. Its a busy little place, so do book ahead, it worth visiting. Unfortunately I didnt take any pictures of the starters and main meals as they looked too good, we all just dived right in to eat. I have attached pictures of our lovely desserts instead. Chocolate brownie sundae and Pannacotta with raspberry.

Improhive Co. Great coffee, fresh and well-prepared food. What really stands out is the friendly and attentive staff — they make you feel genuinely welcome. Definitely a place worth visiting in Bexley.

Helalur Rahman I recently visited The Anchor in Bexleyheath, and it was hands down one of the best fish and chip experiences I’ve ever had! The food was cooked to perfection — the batter on the fish was golden, crisp, and not at all greasy, while the fish itself was beautifully flaky and fresh. The chips were perfectly cooked too — fluffy inside with just the right crunch. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted freshly made to order. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly take pride in what they do, which really adds to the overall experience. The shop was clean, well-presented, and the service was quick and efficient. It’s great to see a place maintaining such high standards — The Anchor is a real gem in Bexleyheath. Whether you’re popping in for a quick takeaway or planning a family meal, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!
