Meg Byrne The managers at the restaurant and cafe are amazing, and Rose in the cafe is very detail oriented, quick to get to customer needs. The food is great quality and well presented. During my stay at the hotel (Ember Locke) attached to EVE, the F&B staff seemed overwhelmed, long weight times for food and a number of staff not very proactive for a restaurant atmosphere (standing around until manager directs them what to do). John was fantastic and really handled the low staffing issues with a smile and proactive communication so guests understood why service was taking so long. If you are in a rush, this is not your place, but if you are up for a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere with great music then you will enjoy the space.

Maryam Abolverdi Taste of Persia is the best persian restaurant in London with Great service, great food , great price and very friendly and proffesional staff. I would highly recommend everyone to try this place as its offering such a authentic and traditional taste of persian food. Its a restaurant with the capacity of 70 people which Ive used for my party and Im so glad that I chose taste of persia and I will surely do it again.

suzie dodd If you haven’t been here, don’t miss it. It is a complete gem great atmosphere even better food and the cocktails are out of this world.. I wish there was a restaurant like this where I lived. This was my favorite course. I think all good tapas tastes 1 billion times better than it looks, but this actually does look really good. The point is the taste is beyond good and is one of the best aubergine dishes I’ve ever eaten.

Saskia Hammond Really nice food and service. We had the tofu skin spring rolls, which were incredible. We even thought they’re better than normal spring rolls. The 3-cup sauce tofu was also delicious and my boyfriend said the crispy chilli beef was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend. We’ll be coming back!

rebecca gutteridge Wow I was not expecting this pub food to be this level. The smoker produced exquisite meat and the smoked tomato salad was incredibly tasty. The level of food I would expect at a high quality restaurant. Really lovely staff.

Honestly, we’re thinking of stopping our Ilford trips because this place delivers everything we go out for and more. We ordered halwa puri, haleem, and paya with roghni naan and kulcha, and finished with tea. Every single dish hit the mark. The taste is right up there with the big names, but what really impressed me was the portion size it felt more generous and properly satisfying. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. The staff are brilliant too warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell it’s a home run local business, and it’s even better knowing it’s run by two sisters and their brother. That personal touch shows in the food and the service. Parking is also straightforward. You can park at McDonald’s for 90 minutes, and there are plenty of other nearby parking options, so the location is super convenient. We had a proper family breakfast and loved every bit of it. Highly recommended if you’re in East London and want real desi breakfast done right.
