Bruna Pignolato This restaurant is one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left. From the first bite to the last sip of coffee, everything feels thoughtful and intentional. Food: Every dish is a pleasant surprise — balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and combinations that show both technique and heart. Nothing feels accidental: the perfect cook on the meats, the freshness of the herbs, the small details that make each plate feel personal. It’s food made with soul, and you can taste that in every bite. Service: The service is flawless. The team is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They always appear at just the right moment — with great recommendations and real enthusiasm. You feel looked after, not just served. Ambience: The space is beautiful without being pretentious. The lighting is perfect, the atmosphere calm, and every detail seems designed for comfort. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, talk, and just enjoy the moment — ideal for a special dinner or a quiet evening out. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience. hawksmoor seven dials

Hawksmoor Seven Dials - Westminster

Rating: 4.6 /5
Y M We had a fantastic evening at Hawksmoor Seven Dials and everything came together perfectly — great food, excellent wine, and genuinely warm service. We started with the beetroot salad, which was fresh, light, and full of flavour. The highlight of the meal was the 450g Chateaubriand, cooked exactly as requested — beautifully tender, rich, and clearly top-quality beef. The sides were just as enjoyable: the beef dripping chips were crisp and indulgent, the spinach with lemon added a lovely freshness, the garlic mushrooms were full of flavour, and the Tunworth mash was wonderfully creamy. The bone marrow gravy tied everything together perfectly. The seasonal pavlova was light, balanced, and a delicious way to finish the meal. A special thank you to Scott, the sommelier, who recommended a superb Rasteau Bressy Masson wine — a fantastic pairing with the steak. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and very professional. Our waiter Adam was also excellent throughout the evening: friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and made sure everything was just right. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience with outstanding food and service. We will definitely be returning.
punch & judy

Punch & Judy - Westminster

Rating: 4.3 /5
Leicester Eats & Sips The Punch and Judy pub in Covent Garden is a real hidden gem with so much history behind it. The pub is named after the famous Punch and Judy shows, which have long been part of Covent Garden’s cultural heritage, and you can really feel that sense of history when you are there. It is part of the Greene King chain, but it does not feel generic at all. The drinks are reasonably priced, especially for such a central London location, and the food looks absolutely delicious. There is also a great selection of beers on offer. One of the highlights is the balcony seating where you can sit, relax and watch the entertainment and atmosphere of Covent Garden below. There is not a huge amount of space on the balcony, but that just adds to its charm. It really feels like a place you would miss unless you know where to look, as it is slightly tucked away and easy to walk past. A brilliant little addition to Covent Garden, especially in the summer, with character, history and good value for money.

ikoyi restaurant

Ikoyi Restaurant - Westminster

Rating: 4.5 /5
Andy Ikoyi has such a distinguished reputation it can only really disappoint. Im pleased to say it didnt. Ours was a menu of delicious little taste bombs with one slightly more substantial dish featuring their smoked jollof (dont get excited Ghanians, its not real jollof but it is delicious anyway). As hoped, the food was the star of the show and each course really did impress with the flavours, textures and presentation. I found the desserts werent as good as the starters and mains but thats probably more to do with my palate preferences than anything else. From reviews Id read I was expecting an African themed menu which isnt really the case, its more of a fusion menu with inspiration from all over (including the golden continent). The restaurant itself is a wonderfully designed space with exceptional ambience, it had atmosphere and moody charm without too much buzz or pretentiousness which is hard to achieve. The staff were also great; professional, warm and attentive without being over the top. It is madly expensive but if fine dining is your thing, its money well spent.
