4 /5 Cody: So I ended up at Café Piazza today kinda by accident. I was walking around London feeling a bit spaced out and just needed something to wake me up. I saw the place, it didn’t look too busy or too fancy, so I just thought “yeah alright, coffee time.” Didn’t even look at anything else on the menu, just asked for a coffee because that’s all my brain could handle in the moment.
The coffee was actually way better than I expected for a random stop. First sip and I sort of paused like, “okay wow, that’s actually pretty nice.” Not too strong, not weak, not burnt — just really smooth in that everyday, comforting way. I probably drank it faster than I should’ve but I was basically running on empty.
The vibe inside was relaxed, not noisy or stressful. A few people sitting around chatting slowly, someone doing laptop stuff, and the staff were calm and not pushy, which I always appreciate. They handed me the coffee pretty quickly too, no fuss.
I ended up drifting outside and just drinking it while watching people walk by. Nothing deep, just one of those simple moments that actually feels kinda nice. Honestly, for a quick coffee stop, Café Piazza was solid. I’d go back without thinking too hard about it.
