Jamie Roberts We’ve been driving past ChefCheer for weeks and finally decided to give it a go one Sunday evening. The restaurant was very quiet and its relatively small inside. Decor and music made us feel like we’re back home in Egypt. This Iraqi/Persian food is so so good. Really generous portions and super tasty. We were given a complimentary bowl of lentil soup, which I would 100% go back for! The lamb kozi just melted in your mouth and the mixed grill was delicious. The only disappointment was the okra stew which was a little slimey. There looked like there’s a large table toward the back but otherwise tables are for 2-4 people. If you’re a big group I would recommend booking. We need to give this local restaurant some love! We can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.

Aun Muhammad I had booked for my fiancé birthday. Such a lovely place, food was fresh and delicious. Specially their starter Mac& cheese with grilled chicken strips. Service was very good. We had fun. Highly recommend for small gatherings and birthdays.
