5 /5 Agberolistic: After a recommendation, I dropped by this new, authentically Congolese restaurant located not far from Turnpike Lane tube. The place is small - like half a shop-front with tables situated either side. A screen plays contemporary Congolese music videos but, unfortunately, there is little other decoration - which would really enhance the environment. Theres a good menu, quire extensive and good value, but unfortunately they didnt have my first choice - liboke ya ngolo - so I opted for mikila (oxtail with soup) and plantain instead. Food was delicious and so too was the ntaba I bought to take-away.
Unfortunately theres no Congo beer - instead Belgian - but I enjoyed the Leffe I drank. Friendly, helpful service too.
