Chilis Indian & Indo Chinese Restaurant - (Near Berkshire, london)

2 /5 Carol Dsouza: I have always ordered food from chillies or either dined at the restaurant and loved the food. But sadly recently I did not have a good experience. We ordered a lot of out of which the gravy was nice but the fried rice and noodles had too much pepper. I mentioned to the lady that 1 fried rice “no spicy” and said it was for my children and fries. But I’m sure when she mentioned to the kitchen they heard “more spicy” but the fried rice box which was for the kids was the spiciest. I had to mix the fried rice with plain cooked rice at home. The noodle and rest of the fried rice was spicy and loaded of pepper. Never had this experience before, I had recommended this place to many and they too mentioned that they never had such problem but not sure what happened this time.

5 /5 Lauren Gauthier: Lovely decoration inside. A hidden gem in Reading town centre if you ask me. We had 4 starters and it was more than enough food for the two of us. We had: - Gobi Manchurian - Chicken 65 - Crispy Corn - Vegetable Samosa Chaat All 4 were amazing, but the crispy corn took us by surprise with how lovely and punchy it was. Portion sizes were generous for sure Staff were excellent and attentive, and even offered to tweak the Gobi Manchurian since we had ordered 4 sauce-less dishes. We also ordered the homemade pistachio ice cream, and it was excellent. You could actually taste the cream, and it was both creamy and delicately sweet - no artificial taste to it at all. Well definitely be coming back again. Theres so much of the menu were dying to try.

5 /5 Sreeram Ediga: Amazing desi food in Reading area. Chicken Monchow Soup with Chicken 65 was a good combination to start our dinner with. Surprise was the home made ice creams - we tried 5 flavors, and best were Gulkhand and Ginger (never knew these flavors of ice creams also are made). Definitely going to visit again, very soon!
